RETAIL PORTFOLIO IN POLAND

For further information regarding office, warehouse or retail space, please contact Apollo-Rida Poland's  Leasing & Marketing Division: Apollo Real Estate Advisors, L.P., the global real estate investment fund manager, through its vehicle the Apollo International Real Estate Fund L.P., in a joint venture with Rida Development Corporation, has completed the acquisition of a portfolio of shopping centers in Poland anchored by the METRO Group. The value of the transaction is more than Eur 700 million or U.S. $840 million. The shopping centers and free-standing stores comprising more than seven million square feet were acquired from Immopol GmbH & Co KG, a German property investment vehicle.

The METRO brands anchoring or taking significant space in each of the locations include thehypermarket group, Real; the consumer electronics chain, Media Markt; and the do-it –yourself chain, Praktiker. The portfolio also includes nine "M1" hypermarket anchored centers, with flagship centers in both Warsaw and Krakow. They have all been built to the traditional high specifications found in similar sized western European shopping centers.
